New York. The Big Apple. The City That Never Sleeps. I love visiting New York. That’s why I was excited to visit this past weekend for a psoriasis social media summit. You can read all about the inspiring weekend here.
My friend told me the weather was going to be on the cooler side, so I packed a light jacket, tunics (my go-to travel essentials), black skinny jeans and flats. For our day of sight seeing I paired this classic black and white tunic with black skinny jeans and flats. You can wear this tunic several ways. Buttoned up with a top knot or with a tank underneath and a few buttons undone. This gives it a more relaxed look.

You’ve probably seen me talk about this clutch a lot. I love it because it’s so versatile, especially when traveling. It’s small enough to fit in your carry on when you’re not using it. Then it’s the perfect size when out and about. It even folds up to allow for extra room (hint hint, my mini iPad fit great!). It also converts from a cross body to a clutch or a wristlet. You’ll see me using this one a lot.

My friend Miriam lives in New York and she chose to go with this light summer dress, cinched at the waist with some statement flats. She was coming from work so her handbag is perfect to take from the desktop to dinning.

She also had never been to Serendipity (nor has she seen the movie!) So we went there and enjoyed their famous frozen hot chocolate. It was DELICIOUS!

This lovely view of the Hudson river was from my hotel the New York Marriott Downtown.
