Date Night is a favorite in our house. I have fun dressing up for my husband. My husband loves trying new restaurants. It’s a win-win for both of us.

We hadn’t been to a really good Italian restaurant in long time. So we chose to go to Prego.  It’s a quaint little restaurant in the heart of the Village. Not too high end—you’ll feel comfortable with a casual dress and flats or even nice jeans and heels. I chose to pair this black romper with some causal wedges and a statement clutch as my date night outfit.

Rompers can feel very casual so accessories are your best asset here. I knew I wanted a statement clutch so I kept everything else to a minimum.

Because of the open slit neckline, a necklace doesn’t work with this. So I chose these gorgeous earrings I scored at a Charming Charlie sample sale.

I paired it this romper a skinny black belt. Don’t ever skip a belt—it defines your waist.

The nude/black wedges make it more casual versus pairing it with stilettos, which can make it more dressy.

Then comes the statement clutch. I’ve never been a big fan of snakeskin print, but I love that it’s not the entire clutch here. The bright red and blue stripe makes it feel less casual too. I also scored this one at a Charming Charlie sample sale but I found a similar one below.

For those of you with psoriasis: rompers are great for several reasons. They don’t cling to your skin which allows your skin to breathe and wont irritate your spots at all. When you’re having a flare-up day and don’t feel like putting much thought into what you’re wearing, break out the romper. You don’t have to worry about what shirt may or may not go with those pair of jeans or shorts. I promise, it will save you a lot of time. Here, here, here and here are some other great casual and dressy rompers.
