With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I’m sure there are brunches galore and family gatherings to attend. No matter what’s on the agenda, you’re sure to look fabulous in a great spring-time dress.

Depending on where your day takes you, I’ve got the perfect little Mother’s Day outfit to take you from brunching with your in-laws to a nice quiet dinner with just you and your mom.

The floral pattern on this dress is perfect to usher in spring. The fit and flare silhouette works with all body types. Pair it with heels, flat sandals or even a set of Converse and you’ll be ready for any occasion.  Since we’re in Texas, this little number even works great with some cowboy boots.

As for accessories: keep it minimal. You want the lovely, floral pattern to really speak for itself. With the high neckline, I chose a pair of diamond-encrusted triangle drop earrings. Don’t be fooled, they are from Charming Charlie. You don’t have to spend a million bucks to feel like a million bucks!

Next, choose either a statement bracelet or ring. I chose this bracelet because I love the simple three diamond teardrop layout — it would even be great with three pearls.

For the clutch, you also want to keep it simple with a color pulled in from the dress. I chose this nude pink clutch which brings out the pink flowers but doesn’t over power the dress.

The same idea goes for choosing your shoes: keep it simple. You can never go wrong with nude wedges — I wear these wedges with everything from fancy dresses to tee shirt and jeans.

I actually love wearing this dress with flats like this or this. You could even pair it with these great Converse — which gives a casual kick to your outfit.
