As I’m sure you all know, I have been actively involved in the National Psoriasis Foundation for about nine years now and I absolutely love it. I am a volunteer mentor, coach and Psocial Ambassador.

This year, the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is celebrating 50 years of driving efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improving the lives of those affected.

The theme of the 50th Year Celebration is “Driving Discovery, Creating Community.” This allows NPF to celebrate the achievements of the past 50 years and to recognize the individuals and milestones that have made significant contributions to the psoriatic disease community.

NPF will be holding events throughout the year, starting with a formal celebration on June 8, 2017, at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, and followed by the National Volunteer Conference and Research Symposium August 4 –6, 2017 in Chicago, IL, as well as various TeamNPF events across the country.

Additionally, NPF is committed to raising $2 million to fund several promising areas of research and programing, specifically early career research. Supporting the NPF 50th year campaign will ensure that researchers studying psoriatic disease will have the resources needed to turn their questions and theories into a cure.
